Mr. Rusin is the Lead Goalkeeping Instructor for Central Florida Soccer Club. He is a High School teacher and Head Soccer Coach at Tavares High School in Lake County, FL, as well as the Co-owner/Practice Manager for Dragonfly Equine Medical Services, a Veterinary business located in Eustis, FL. Scott has been involved with soccer for over 35 years as a player, coach, referee and club administrator. His playing experiences range from Youth, to Division 1 FSSL, to the Verbandsliga, Sudwest in FRG (West Germany) – Mainz-Gonsenheim District. He has coached various levels of players from recreational to Premier League level teams in both the MSYSA and FYSA systems and is also active with Feyenoord Academy in the Netherlands. There he fosters relationships internationally while competing and representing Central Florida at the International Tournament (Drenthe Cup) in Meppel, NL. In addition to a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) D license, Scott has been a been a level 7 referee with the FLRSC. He lives in Eustis, FL with his wife and has two children. Scott also provides local Goalkeeper training for various players and clubs in the area.
